Freedom-loving romantic boho is a refuge for creative people.
Gypsy story
The historical roots of the boho style come from the creatively rethought lifestyle of the “bohemians”, as Czech gypsies were once called. Being engaged in blacksmithing and trade, they led a free way of life.

Later, the French art environment began to adopt the habits of the Bohemian gypsies, and now they were already called bohemian. Creative people, actors and musicians, often almost beggars, have adopted the taste of “nomadic luxury.”
Mood color
In general, boho is a relaxed style tending to ethnic motives, it is often mentioned in connection with hippie chic.

Basically close to nature, “earthy” in nature, boho loves earthy, natural shades, the color of red clay, black, dark wood, olive and creamy tones.

Color spots usually play the role of interior shades; walls in such interiors often remain neutral: dark or light. It is not necessary to dwell on one bright shade. A variegated boho will accept and shelter several contrasting colors at once. There are no restrictions.

Minimalism – “no”
Boho loves details, allows creative people to express themselves and add in the interior all things dear to his heart: inherited vintage, art objects, the fruits of folk and their own creativity.

All boho faces welcome rattan furniture, jute rugs, hanging wicker pots, chests and souvenirs from countries you have visited (or would like to visit).
There is no boho without decor: interior curtains made of beads, Moroccan lanterns with colored glass, salt lamps, mirrors in an “old” frame, carpets with a tribal print, wood panels in the spirit of the Navajo Indians – creating an interior in the boho style, you can afford everything that has to do with the free life of the traveler.

A time-worn luxury
For boho is absolutely contraindicated view “with a needle”. Your blankets and pashminas and the furniture itself may look like they’ve lived a long, happy life before they even got into your home, and your favorite candlesticks and vases might look like they were bought at an Asian night market or at a craft fair.

Little tricks
A bohemian interior should open up more for a second, third and even fourth glance, turn out to be more interesting and complex than one might have expected: due to the color scheme, combination of textures and patterns. The more textures, the more pleasant your home is to the touch.
Boho makes it possible to show creativity, for example: paint drawers of wardrobes and dressers in bright colors, use wallpaper fragmentarily in decoration, paint on walls, and so on.
